The same happens on my MP3 player. It'd usually be the same songs in the same shuffled order. If I start from the beginning, it's Linkin Park's "Numb Encore", then this BGM, and then Masataka Nakagauchi's instrumental "START". Gets really annoying, too.

Yes, it seems as though my iTunes really loves certain bands.

Yeah, mine does that too, I've noticed. It'll play through a certain number of songs and then start right back at the first one I clicked on before I went to bed. It's strange.

Yes!

And it was pissing me off, because I was making a playlist for my friend's birthday, and the same songs kept popping up.

What a biased and uneducated response.

Yeah, my iPod keeps doing that. I have over 1000 songs and the same 100 are always there. It's rather annoying.

Haha...I know, your iTunes has a mind of its own at times. Sometimes mines will play a track like twice. Never really happens more than twice tho.
