Skirts are for whores? WUT?

Like most of everyone else my mum is buying me a whole bunch of new clothes for school. I'm on hottopic online right now looking at some stuff we don't have at our local hottopic.

I'm really wanting to get a skirt, it's around 30 bucks. I'm also wanting thigh socks since I'm not fond of the way my legs look and the socks will make them look slimmer.

My dad is trying to convince my mum I don't need a skirt because it'll make me look trashy and a whore. He hasn't even seen the skirt I want.

How is a skirt trashy? Yes, some short skirts can make you look a little easy but I think most skirts just make you look more femine and they are uber cute.

I agree with what you said. I think the reason why your dad doesn't like skirts (even without seeing yours) is because there are so many WHORES out there that make skirts look bad. It's like, a reputation if that makes sense. Now skirts have a bad reputation. Only sluts where them. Make sense?
