Depends on the person.. in my boyfriend's case, it makes him go MUCH longer (but he doesn't only take a minute). The thing is, if you do that, you may find that you CAN'T orgasm, or get an erection 30 minutes later... Something to keep in mind.
Otherwise, if you're also using a condom, you can use one that will help you keep going for longer. That's another option.
