If you can get FiOS in your area, thats about the only way.
Other than that, Verizon isnt going to have anything to do with it. There are several ways to watch TV shows online, but aside from FiOS (which requires a subscription to the TV portion, and a set-top box to hook up to your TV) then you arent going to be able to watch live TV.
