I was just at the ocean the other day when I had a little group of kids go past me and say, "SMOKING KILLS", well no shit did you just learn that in school? Had I been quicker I could have gotten back at him with "so does life" or "that's why I only buy low birth weights." But this got me thinking. There's no reason to run up to me and tell me I am going to die; that's a given, but are you suggesting that if I quit smoking that I could magically become immortal. Or even better yet do you some how believe that you are graced with immortality because you don't smoke, you don't drink, you don't do anything remotely dangerous? I am going to die, at some point, be it from these cancer sticks, from the asbestos I inhaled all throughout high school, from a car, from a heart attack, or some other random occurrence; the only question is when.
In related news, I do feel selfish for taking my life for granted especially when my friends 12 year old brother won't be alive for much longer and if he is he will be in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. My other friend got diagnosed with some disease and will be dead by the time hes 40. Oh well, we all die right, might as well go out early.

What am I drinking?
Nyquil on the rocks for when you are feeling sick but sociable.
