Maybe you could get a little job, like babysitting, for example. Then buy your own food and hide it? haha just an idea! That's what I would do.

Hey man, my mom kind of has the same problem(I can tell it is growing), and she acts totally different when she drinks. She's not the same sweet woman I knew 3 years ago, she's a totally different person now. The problem is, SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT PAIN SHE IS PUTTING ME, MY BROTHERS, AND MY DAD THROUGH, you have to show to her how much misery you're getting put through because of her drinking problem. I don't think hiding all her alcohol would solve anything, she'd get really moody and might take her anger out on you for it. Does she drink in front of you guys, or does she keep it private? If she does keep it private, what I do is be around her, she'd not feel the desire to drink in front of her son. Do you have a video camera? If so, videotape her while she is drunk, show her what she has become and what she might turn into if it gets any worse. From what I read, a simple sitting down and talking to her might not be so easy for you, so you have to find another way to show her how you are feeling. Maybe writing her a letter would be easier for you? You have to stop this before it gets too out of hand. I hope everything works out for you.
