I understand why girls wear bras....part of it is to cover what is deemed a private part (like why girls wear panties and guys wear boxers), but priimarily go give support to their breats and all that. However, I don't get why girls can't be topless, but guys can be. Don't get me wrong, of course girls breasts are a turn on - I'm a straight guy! However, it's fine for girls to be topless as long as they have pasties covering their nipples. That's what I don't get though. Guys have nipples too!...So why is it ok for guys to be topless then but not girls? Why the double standard? It makes no sense to me....

Its legal in NYC, it was ruled legal discrimination on the basis of sex which is a protected class. Hell it might be that way on the national level it depends on what level court ruled so.
