I saw in the new issue of seventeen magazine they had a section on how to make money, and they said that you can do online surveys and get paid for it. I'm thinking about signing up on one of the sites, but am scared they are not legit. They have a seal on there from the Better Business Bureau and it was recommended in seventeen magazine so I would hope they wouldn't just put any site on there without checking it out first. I'm scared that they might be a scam or something. Thoughts?

I've used some websites like that... even if it is legit, it's not worth your time. It's like a few cents per survey and it's hard to qualify to answer them.

I am a member of about 5 of those sites. I have earned a total (from all five websites) of $7. For all of those websites you need at least $20 to "cash out", so I haven't pocketed any money. Sometimes you spend the time to take a survey and they don't even tell you until the end "you are not eligible to get paid for this survey".

It's a waste of time and effort if you ask me.

I actually do this for a living since I am going to school.  It pays most of my bills.  They are legit and all free to join.  I dont want to get kicked off the forums for spamming so if you want the links to the best sites you can email me.
