No way i'd of gotten by in college without a laptop, ......although some courses do less essays than others, still though a laptop is a pretty necessary investment.

well if you live at home and have a computer there it'd be all right to just write notes and stuff in the courses on campus then take it all home and do it on the comp right?

I suppose it depends on the size of your family and such, i didn't think about people in small families, i can't get near my home computer for long enough to do any real amount of work because everyone wants to use it all the time, i'd say if you were an only child you probably would have a better chance since you wouldn't have siblings bitching in your ear
