 If a topic like this had been posted before you removed my >2 year old image months ago (not in the 'past few days' as you noted), allowing me and others an opportunity for input, I would have recommended all previously approved images remain on the servers and for these new rules to be applied to new images only.  

 It's not fair to go removing old images without explanation, leaving the members to do the detective work themselves and then months later make an official announcement about the new 'rules'.

Do you know what the image was named? If so I can find out who deleted it, or if you can link it to me I will be able to check it out.

The guidelines for these images should be applied to images from now and the past. Images are relevant for there here and now but something like a topic from a long time ago isn't (if a new guideline was brought out and a topic was affected from a long time ago).

You don't remove old topics because it makes other content (images, topics, posts or otherwise) appear out of context and because it is a piece of history. The same goes for images. I had posted this particular image numerous times in the forums and now those posts won't make sense. The image is also a piece of my LiveWire history as it was one of the first images I uploaded here and I had comments dating back 2 years or so.

Someone must of found your image, either reported it to a mod or messaged it. Or a mod came across it when looking at your images in general.

With topics its harder to find them.

We can't leave some images up and others don't when they all apply to the guidelines, time isn't a deciding factor in it.

We aren't not punishing you in any way for taking the image down, we are just keeping LiveWire upto date.

Yes it is. Everyone who traveled on the freeway got to get to their location much faster. We must make them pay.

Not the same. They weren't speeding at the time of the modified limit. In this case, the images are on our servers with the new rules. They are subject to deletion because they are currently breaking our announced rules.
