Once you hit one year in your relationship or even around that amount of time does it start feeling more like a friendship to you? Like it's a lot calmer you aren't going as crazy as you used to be?

What do you guys think?

you are leaving the infatuation stage and entering the real relationship.  The question you might as well ask yourself now is "could I marry this person?"  If there is any doubt, then don't waste their time. Get out of it before you both end up hurt.

Well I'd wait until the 2 year mark before thinking about stuff like marriage. But I would start thinking am I serious about this person, do I want this to keep on going for a long time?

The infactuation spark always goes after about a year but it's not a bad thing it will teast at first how seriously you are really into each other without the sex there, if it's deep enough it's going to last and you're going to reach a maturer height of relationships that some people never get to reach. I can't wait to get there to be honest.

Its friendship, lovers, a couple and more! The feelings keep growing and u both keep growing closer.

It doesnt take a back-step into friendship and personally I dont thinit calms down after just a year!!

If anything u know each other so well by then it makes it all the more fun!

You're leaving the infatuated stage, and realize what a relationship is, and feels like.

I think it really makes me think because I feel like well at one year this means I either have to get out or just really commit. It makes me really question things. Right now I'm thinking well is this really right for me? But then again I don't want to go anywhere.

I guess I was getting scared because it feels different and due to the spark going away I thought am I getting bored with it why does this feel different? I love him. But I guess I got scared that I was possibly leading him on due to the spark being gone.

When I was younger that's why I left my 1 year and 9 month long relationship... I thought it was over, I felt tied down and had to go.

4 years, first 2.5 years was long distance (350 miles apart). Finally moved to her side of the world, Lived with her and her family for about a year, now i'm on my own, she had choose to stay with her parents. Only thing that bugs me at the moment is people always asking 'when are you getting married.' Yes it has been 4 years, but it was a fast 4 years of seeing each other maybe twice a month until recently.

It has been quite hard going through 'is it right or not' stages, takes time and just have to decide if that person your with is the same person you want around 5-10-etc years from now.
