Some suggestions please? And critiques. The one area that really bothers me is the white set of little flowers they aren't quite burned in enough they are too stark white...

I'm a photographer too :)

Umm I like the whole concept and the fact that you caught a hummingbird is amazing! But I think that they humming bird is a little blurry and out of focus even though he is supposed to be the focal point and centerpiece of the picture. Also I agree with your own critique that the white flowers at the top are too stark white

It's a canon film slr and yeah the the hummingbird moth became blurry because I didn't have the speed high enough because I just caught him before he flew away so I didn't have time to adjust my settings.
