How long does a girl usually like someone?
Basically, do they call it quits when it gets bleak or what?

Soooooo, I've like this girl for a little over a year, and she has given me a good couple of signs which seem to have you know that kind of meaningfulness :] and well right now I'm focused on figuring out my life a little more but before I can truly be with someone, so I'm wondering how long do you think  she would be willing to wait.(I know no one can give me an exact answer, but I mean based on your experiences)(Girl and Guy answers welcome) I really really like her, and I'm kinda convinced that it will work out and that she "may" like me. Answers please! btw how would I know if she was "done" with me. (And to be honest, I'm a worrier and I constantly over-analyze situations. I just need a little reasurrance/ Guidance)

If I were her and I really liked you, I would wait. Now, you have to be reasonable - you can't expect her to wait for years or anything, but if she likes you, she would probably understand. I would say a couple of months?

How to tell if she's "done" with you? She isn't affectionate, she doesn't want to talk to you, she's distant and cold... Trust me, you'll know.

Also, how old are you?

I'm 15 Bro,and she will be 15 soon. But ya I'm reasonable like I'm not planning on months,  me and her have good history with each other,like we share a lot of memories , we can talk for hours,  anyways thanks for the replies!

There isn't just a cut off date. It depends on the girl, you, things that have happened (not just between you both) You cant give a general time.

Well, I would tell her your feelings so you don't lose her. If she knows how you feel and she reciprocates, she will probably wait.

Depends on if she's willing to wait. Personally, I don't wait for people. But I have friends who've liked the same guy for over 3 years. Depending on whether you're friends or not, it's quite tricky to establish whether this girl has stopped liking you. If you're friends, she'll probably stop being flirty around you. If you're not friends, then she'll probably just avoid you.

First of, you dont know she likes you, so she might not.

Second, girls dont have a stopping day on liking. I'll give my example. I liked this one guy for years on and off. He kept going for other fun girls and making me feel like crap, just recently I found a sweet guy who really likes me and showed how a guy should act. So I have no feelings what so ever with the first guy. And now he miight have feelings for me. Haha.
