I went for an interview there today and although the job seems promising, there are some things that bothered me. First of all, the manager took a copy of my resume, but the only question she asked me was if I had customer service experience. The rest of the interview was her explaining the job. As a Customer Service Representative, I'd basically just greet visitors before these introductory meetings the company has(to introduce prospective vacation goers to Dream Works vacation packages) and take note of all their information regarding their vacation preferences. Secondly, she said only 2 hours of my time are devoted to actual work(the shifts are typically 3:30-9:30). Also, the pay is comission based, but employees are guaranteed $300 a week no matter what. You make 6% on packages sold. For example, if I were to sell a $5000 vacation package, I'd make an additional $300. They're willing to accomodate my college schedule so I'd be working 3 days a week, or 18 hours or less. The dress code is business casual. She didn't collect references, didn't require a background check or drug test, and wanted to start training me tomorrow. I searched Google for more information about the company, but all I can find are complaints from customers who got scammed. Somehow, this company reminds me of Vector (a ridiculous cutlery sales job). Would you take a job at Dream Works ?
