The internet is not that hard to figure out. Yet some of you seem to think that acting like a normal human being online is the intellectual equivalent of rocket science or brain surgery. I am here for you.
Simple e-rules to live by
1. If you are not a lolcat/dog/lion/panda/dolphin/whatever, do not talk like one.
Pictures of cats doing stupid things are allowed to have stupid, piss poor english in them because they originated from /b/. You originated from your mothers womb with a (somewhat) functional brain. Do not talk like an idiot. You don't sound cool or trendy.
2. For that matter....any trend started on 4chan can stay there
Believe it or not, the world can do without rule 34, caturday, mukips, rickrolling, chocolate rain, etc. Its really not that funny.

You don't have to make everything you fucking say into a fucking acronym you fucking idiot. No one knows what you are saying
4. I KNOW THAT THE INTERNET IN ALL OF ITS GLORY IS SUPER DUPER BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO CAP RAPE OMFG

5. If someone is bothering you over the internet, leave
navigate to another page, or better yet go bask in the sunlight that you havent seen in years. Within minutes you will forget that they exist. I promise. That means those of you with your pants all tangled up around your ankles because of (oh fuck get ready...) nudity on Livewire. Ya you. Same to those of you who feel that flaming the race and ethnicity forum is going to end global racism.
6. Getting banned and proceeding to make 40000 new accounts only highlights your lack of social life
If making e-friends is that important to you, go to 4chan. They dont ban people there.
7. Mods are normal people, not the CIA
Making 100 topics about how shitty they are does not make you any more of a badass than listening to anti-flag makes you an anarchist. Finish high school and wait for your teen angst to subside.
8. If you are really messaging strangers for cyber sex, nudes and the like...
...is it even humanly possible to have any degree of respect for yourself? One would think it's tough to wake up in the morning and say, "well, here's to another day of picking up some e-chicks!"
9. It is more than likely that no one cares about your life.
Really. They don't. You don't need to make 40 topics about how much your cat ate today.
10. e-status is worth about as much as German Papiermarks
