So I was wanting to buy a Mac OS X Installation package and install it on my Windows PC and I was wondering if it would work. I've installed Linux and I'm not sure if it would work. Anyone kno?

That won't work. Their hardware is coded to the software. When you go to install it will tell you that it'
s not a mac and wont do anything.

There is however a hacked version of osx that you can install on an INTEL based pc. The problem is there's not really any drivers. Don't expect any external video cards, sound cards, network cards etc. to work. If everything is onboard on your computer then it might work.

I'll look for a link to it and post it later.

It might work. But Apple says you can only put Mac on an Apple computer. It's in the Users Agreement when you buy an Apple or the Mac OS. So I advise you don't do it.
