everytime a black person is on television all they say is ''fucking niggers'' and complain for hours. i cant even watch sports or play grand theft auto in my grandparents line of vision because ''theres all niggers in sports''. all black people are the same to those 2 biggots. not too long ago a black person won money on a gameshow and celebrated and my grandpa blurted out ''shut up you loudmouth nigger! all you niggers are the same!''

if a hispanic is on tv...its the same thing but with ''Beaner'' or one of the other slang terms.

you can pretty much add any other race or type of person to this list. if there not old white people they dont give a shit about them. ive seen my grandpa push down a 6 year old african american child on purpose. they usually leave places where black people are at.

im just really sick of it. i know they were raised in a different time, but come on now...its fucking 2008. not to mention, we live in arizona...and theres about 20 percent hispanic in this city. a few months ago my grandpa called a hispanic person ''Pancho'' and my grandpa almost got his ass kicked.

and the funny thing about it is, they're favorate foods are CORNBREAD and HOT SAUCE...i laugh at this fact. cause both of those are sterotypes of other cultures.

if my grandparents knew my sisters boyfriend was black and that ive dated a black chick...im pretty sure they'd kick us out of the family.

what can i do about this?

What you can do is leave the room and try your best to ignore them. Stop watching TV with them.

Speak to your mom about being around them when their being ignorant. Make it known that their actions negatively affect you and DO something about it.

Every time they open their mouth tell them to shut up and keep their idiotic and simple minded ideas to themselves because educated people don't like to hear such absolute drivel.  If they go on make the case that it shows that their mental faculties are obviously dropping below the point where they should be in charge of their lives and ask your mother to look into gaining power of attorney over them.
