Lunch:
2 slices whole wheat bread
lean turkey or chicken
lettuce

Snack:

Dinner:

4 oz. grilled chicken
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup cooked vegetables

I do either a 60 minute treadmill workout or a 45 minute run with hills daily. But I've been anorexic 2 years, eating around 900 calories. My nutritionist gave me this meal plan, and I'm allowed to keep doing the same amount of exercise, but I'm scared that I will put on weight from fat. Since I'm following that meal plan and exercising will I put on muscle instead?

I don't understand why popcorn is good for people at breakfast. But that looks like a good meal plan. You might stay the same weight...but muscle is weight. It may not be fat but it still is weight.

dah, sorry i didn't read the whole thing before. i doubt that you would put on fat since you're not consuming that much fat in the first place.

you know if your trying to lose weight, the best thing really is just to get a balanced diet and getting regular exercise. The worse mistake someone can make when trying to lose weight is to starve themselves, because when you do that your body goes into survival mode (thus storing any fat that you already have in your body, this makes it hard to lose weight.)

You're not eating too much fat, and you're eating plenty of protein, so you'll probably put on muscle weight rather than fat weight. But weight is weight.
