So, a couple of months after I first joined LW, there was this member who made my life on LW a living hell. Anything that I posted, and I really do mean anything, they always had some derogatory comment to make about me, and it didn't even pertain to the topic. I would reply to a topic about a band or something, and then they would quote my post, saying something about how ugly they thought I was or anything of that manner. I was elated when I saw that they were banned. Elated. Soooo excited. And recently, they have returned, and I told a certain mod about my fears, and that mod was really really unhelpful. Well, this morning, I sign on to look at topic that I posted, and lo and behold, there's this member with his derogatory comments again. So my question is - when I report a post, does anything really happen? 'cause if I'm gonna have to go through this all again, then I might as well leave LW.

dont leave. You shouldnt be made to feel like that. Reporting a post is 'apparantly' taken 'seriously and should be more so if youve raised the issue with a mod previously.
