I finally understand what my coaches have been trying to drill into my head all my life. I can now dig deep for energy, even when my legs are about to fall off. I run harder when I'm tired than wehn I just get to practice. I try, I sweat, I want to just pass out but have to keep running.
It only took 13 years of competitive sports. Now to apply it to the rest of my life...

Before I managed to glide along on my own usually untiring energy. Now I actually have to work. I've come a long way.
(That and before I just played to play and have fun. Now I am playing to win because it is my job.)
