I spent so long looking for you, I very nearly overlooked you. It was through the toss of a coin that I am with you today. And now that it's been nearly a year, I have to wonder how it is that I could have passed you by before.

You tell me you have no issue with us taking so long to be together. But it bothers me. Because nothing about me seems to bother you. Nothing except for me wanting to jump off a cliff. And even through everything, you won't give up. You refuse to give in, you refuse to accept defeat. You promise me you'll always be there.

I can't believe I waited so long for you. I can't believe that now I have you, I treat you so badly. I told you that I don't deserve you. I told you so many times, you should be with someone better. And you've never given up hope that one day, I'll turn around.
