i always thought i could kid myself into thinking i wasn't a failure. fairly good grades, good social life, hobbies, dreams and friends etc. today and this week just proved how wrong i can be. it was put in front of me in black and white. i completely failed 2 of my AS Exams and barely passed one but i good grade on the other. i have to rethink and plan another route into uni cos im not gonna get the grades i need. my friends were extremely unsupportive as they were caught up in all the hype of getting A's and B's and they forgot all about me. i now feel very distant from them and an outcast cos they all did so well and dont have to worry about a thing. whereas i have to replan my entire future. earlier this week i fell of my horse, nearly crashed my instuctors car and failed a mock driving test. All in 1 week. like i said FAILURE. its now written across my forehead for everyone to
see.

That is far from failure. Look at those people who drop out in Middle School and then bitch because they can't find jobs. Trust me, you are not a failure, everyone in life goes through a period of bad times when it seems everything they do is wrong, etc... but if you work hard etc... you can do good in everything. You aren't a failure! You are just making yourself think that. You are just having a bad week. Everyone has those. You may just have been stressed out when you took those AS exams. You need to really get your grades up if you want to be accepted. You still can do that. Just concentrate on your work more. It helped me get to high honors when I really needed to. If your friends are that unsupportive, then why are they your friends? Real friends are supportive whenever you need it. You don't need friends like that. Try finding new ones. When you failed the mock driving test, it could have been avoided, but you can still take it again. Just study what you need to, take it again, and pass it! The other things that went wrong really were arbitrary. You can't really avoid them. They just happen extemporaneously. You aren't a failure for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Really, you aren't a failure. You just need to work harder on the things that you can change, and the arbitrary misfortunes you just have to deal with. We all go through this. It is nothing new.
