If this isn't some stupid move to show-up the Russians and protect us from Iran, then why not just put it in Greece or Turkey or Germany? How is that shield protecting our allies on the other side of the shield? It's not. Iran can still nuke Israel, and that probably would be their first target., anyway. What help would this shield be against a nuke in a briefcase in the London metro? What nukes would we stop if Russian subs went around the shield and launched them from the Atlantic? What about the US troops and bases on the other side? They just die?
