I don't do drugs. I've tried weed but it's not something I'd ever use regularly, if ever again. I don't see the huge attraction, and having read the book "Only Angels Need Apply", I really wouldn't want to risk it unless I was in a country where it WAS legal, to be honest. However, I do think it should be regulated and made legal on the same level as alcohol and tobacco.

I use a lot of drugs. I wouldn't say they define me by any stretch of the imagination, but they've been worth the experience for me to go through and grow through. I think drug use without abuse is perfectly possible, and think that the government should stay out of the issue (although that's how I feel about the government in general). Drugs I have used include weed, lsd, mushrooms, cocaine, nicotine, alcohol, benzodiazepine, opium, mdma, and amphetamines, among others.

I occasionally use marijuana. A lot less than I did when I was younger, but now it's just a once-in-a-while thing. At this point, I won't smoke anything that's not REALLY high quality. It's just not worth it to have mediocre stuff or risk a bad trip due to poor quality. To me, it's like some people think of wines; the quality stuff is very enjoyable and a rare treat to be savoured, and the poor quality isn't worth doing. I have mixed feelings about drugs overall and legality. Stuff like meth, opium, et cetera, that should stay banned. People can't be trusted with it. However, softer drugs are no worse or perhaps better than alcohol in the hands of individuals. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be legal, other than that mass production and regulation would impair quality, for those who appreciate such things.

I do not smoke dope. I do not like the fact that people smoke it very much, if it is used for medical purposes it is fine in my book. However, I do think that dope/marijuana should be legalized above alcohol. Alcohol makes people angry and aggressive when they use it. On the contrast when a person gets a high off of marijuana, they become a happy person not a sadistic bastard.

I think marijuana should be legalized and regulated by government in the same way tobacco is regulated. It should only be sold to people over 18, with ID. Legalizing it will bring most of the illegal drug trafficking to an end (in this area only). Dealers will probably only sell weed to underage kids who couldn't get it any other way. This will account for less crimes (not a lot less anyways, since drug dealers are still gonna be selling other substances). If the government decides to not legalize it, they should at least decriminalize its possession in small quantities. - I smoke every now and then mostly just to calm me down. I'm not looking for a high from it. And I do believe intellectuals can smoke it. There's nothing wrong with it. Only when any drug becomes a habit it is bad. Control is absolutely necessary.
It most deffinately should not be legalised , cannabis is the most under estimated drug around . Just because governments cant control traffic doesnt give it a pass into the main stream on the basis "oh we can control it then".
Do you have an actual reason why people shouldn't be allowed to possess cannabis?
