drinking water before bed usually does the trick
but it also depends on what youre drinking
the cleaner the alcohol (vodka is best) the lesser the hangover next morning

Last time I got drunk and was puking the next morning. The puke was clear and gold like whiskey and tasted just like whiskey, it was a really disgusting puke cause I could taste the alcohol again.

If you smoke... weed is like the best cure.

I usually just take some advil and drink a lot of water.  I also have to eat something, even if it's not much, or I'll feel sick to my stomach like all day.
