I value my mind. I f I wasn't smart I would not have a lot else going for me. It has got me through tough points in my depressions with events such as getting very high marks at school and my report levels.

I might be smarter than the average person, but it doesn't go to my head.  I'm work around people who are far smarter than I am, so it's all about perspective.  Here on LW.. hah, completely different story.  I'm up against Jr. High kids..

Internet forums give kids with bad social skills the illusion that they're smarter than the average bear, many of them even use this imagined maturity and intellect as an excuse for their inabilities in their peer groups rather than addressing the real reasons for their inadequacies.

In reality, barring social disorders, the more agile the mind the more easily social someone is.
