Personally i think the best looking girls are the healthy looking ones... NOT skinny. I.E. Lindsay lohan looked much better before the weight loss

That's not true. Maybe less self conscious about weight than most white women, but not completely carefree. And then there are exceptions; black girls who are total basket-cases about staying thin. I could easily ask about white women being so obsessed with weight. But I'm not like you. In short, the answer is differences just culture/society.

Even with the celebrities, its acceptable for black and hispanic women to be larger. It's just social acceptance of it. People are not accustomed to seeing larger white women on screen and seen as beautiful and confident. It's sad, but that's just the way it goes.
