I'm still learning how to be assertive. I've been reading books and stuff off the net and I understand it all. The whole passive, aggressive and asertive thing. The thing is, not sure if I can actually do it. I'm at a program and I asked my case manager about places where I could take that course free of charge or for less that two hundred something. I saw in the college book the course is there but it's two hundred something. And , there's no way I'm willing to pay that much for a course thats part time even. So my case manager told me a place and I tried calling today but got no answer. So I'll try tomorrow. I realize that my self esteem may be a bit low off and on. Sometiems I feel bad about my body and other times I feel great. I'm not sure if that could be a health issue or not. But ya. Does anyone here feel the same? I also heard that if your self esteem is low, you can't be assertive. Is that true? I remember a few times where I was feeling bad about myself and someone said something to me to make me feel more bad and I was assertive. In some ways I can be assertive, but not all. And I want to in all ways. But since I heard that if you think negative, you can't be assertive, I'm wondering if thats true? Cuase I seemed to be ok there.

You can't be assertive if you don't believe in yourself. Real talk.

Kool, I'm glad I'm not the only one.
