Probably not right away, but I might eventually get around to getting it sometime after it comes out.
The main problem with these next installments in the series is that they take away all the good furniture, decorations, pets, etc. that you get in the expansion packs and leave you with only the very basics. It happened from the original Sims to the Sims 2, so it may be better to wait for an expansion pack before buying it.
