Hi, I just bought a Pioneer KD-08 slimline drive to go into my Toshiba Satellite Pro A10 laptop. I have fitted it, and it is definitely secure. It should apparently be "plug and play" however it is not showing up under My Computer or the Device Manager, in fact on the Device Manager the previous Toshiba CD drive model is still showing up even though I've removed it.
I've put a DVD, a software CD-ROM and a music CD in the new drive, the drive itself is working perfectly as I can hear it working when I put discs in it.

Also I was told it may be that it's in the wrong mode out of master and slave but I don't know how to determine it's current setting or change it.
