it depends, most products require only twice a day, dont overuse or your body will get used to it, making it not effective

Twice is good enough. Once in the morning, once at night. I used to have horrible acne. I went to the dermatologist and he gave me a load of things to use in the morning and night and now I'm acne free.

If you do that make sure you rinse well, as a layer of caked on soap causes more acne.

There is no reason to wash your face that much. Your going to make it worse. Just wash it once in the morning, and once at night. that's what I do and my skin is a lot better then it was a year ago when I washed my face about 4 times a day.
