As a pacifist, I say no war is ever justified.
I ask Bush, when did anyone there ask you to "help" them?

"The stated purpose of the invasion was to capture Osama bin Laden, destroy al-Qaeda, and remove the Taliban regime which had provided support and safe harbor to al-Qaeda. "

The thing is, the Taliban regime - if we remove Al Qaeda, the fact that the Taliban regime supports this non existant organisation, should it matter?  Once Al Qaeda is gone, it is no longer of American concern.
