It only takes your kind of genius. Let's try again. Introspection is the evaluation of one's own thoughts and feelings. If he begins to realise the errors of his religion, he will simply abandon those beliefs. In order to change someone's beliefs, a substitute set must be offered in its place. No such substitute was ever offered, as change was never intended.
See, your bias is still involved... you assume he will see 'errors in his religion'. If his 'introspection' finds the 'errors' to be in his attitude rather than his religion, you would still disagree with his decision. You don't have to offer him alternatives, you are simply telling him his religious beliefs are wrong, keeping him in darkness and he should abandon them. You don't really care what he believes as long as it doesn't include a belief of a religious nature. And your opinion of my intelligence bothers me not at all.
