I was lieing on the sofa with my cat yesterday and found a flea on my arm, which I removed. Then all day yesterday I found myself scratching my arm. Now I just looked at my arm to see in the place where the flea was, a large (1 inch) skin coloured bump with a red rash around it. The bump is about 1/2 a cm high and when I touch it it really stings. Should I be worried about it? Am I having an alergic reaction? Has the flea planted eggs in my skin? Or is it normal and treatable? Thanks

it's just a flea bite. it'll swell and disappear in a week or two. don't worry.

I've googled both of the above but it doesn't look either of them. It's probably a very bad flea bite. Thanks foer the help hatt. I'll see if I can find any lotion to sooth the pain and then I'm taking my cat to the vet.
