My problem is, idk how to say goodbye.
I mean, in reality, i don't wanna use the word 'bye' at all.
Goodbye means going away & going away means forgetting, and i just don't want that.
But what do i say, and do?
I love him to death & wanna make sure hes positive of that before he leaves.

in a few days.
Him and i have always been really close.
He's aloud to have one person come to wish him off, and he picked me, even over his family.
I wanna go, and i'm going to. But idk how to say goodbye.
I found out about him leaving about 2 weeks ago, and everytime i've seen him since then, i haven't been able to help but to cry, and he always comforts me & tells me he'll be back, that he promises he will and that he loves me and that as long as i don't forget about him he'll always be there with me.

My sister is away in Iraq for her second term of 15 months. She LOVES it. She says the dorms are really nice, and air conditioned, and they have a lot of nice amenities. Just know that he'll be okay and promise to write.

That's one thing my sister said she always needed - letters from home. Packages from home. Things to remind him that people back here care. :)

I've been through it before too, but never with a close friend.
I'm a military brat & i'm used to my dad and brothers and uncle & cousins & stuff going.
But never a friend, especially someone like him, he's like my everything, my bestfriend, i see him everyday, i care about him more so then my own bf, and now he's leaving.

Thats my problem.

yeah the fact thats its a close friend makes it harder to go through. With family its just easier to accept for me but when it comes to somebody thats close it gets difficult. my ex bf just left for Iraq a month or so ago. if you want to talk you can message me
