My boyfriend has apparently started smoking, hasn't told me, found out
through our friend. what shoudl I do?

I was just told by my friend that my boyfriend has been smoking the last two band practices. apparently he has been coming with packs of smokes... I didn't know this. I new he used to smoke and I know he smokes pot the odd time.Which I'm fine with because I do to. But like, I don't want him to smoke all the time, and I don't want him to get addicted again but he hasn't even told me he's smoking, and like that hurts me because we have been going out for over a year and thats not something little. thats something he should be telling me. at least I think. But since I found out through our friend who he smokes around ( band practice). I don't want to get our friend in trouble and like since he hasn't told me I don't know how to bring it up, or if I even should. What do you guys think??

Yeah sure, just go up to him and ask him if this is really what he wants to do.
Then, maybe tell him the concequences of smoking... But he probably already knows them
Just let him know that you'll love him no matter what, but also let him keep in mind that smoking isnt the best idea out there.

My granddaddy died of lung cancer induced by smoking, my grandma has emphysema induced by smoking, and my other grandma is dying from smoking. Don't let him do this. They are extremely addictive and deadly.

You can I used to date a smoker. Its not really the fact that he is smoking. Im disappointed in him sure. But like its the fact that he isn't telling me. Like all it takes is "_ _ _ _ _, please don't be mad, but iv been smoking at band practice" Like I donno it just really bothers me that after over a year of dating he cant trust me enough to tell me this one thing?
