In a world where everything is so structured, we need to all be mad. Insanity is the only way to be free as it is the only alternative to being sane, but if we are deliberately insane, wouldn't this already make us sane if we come to realize it? Or is insanity just a perception based on the majority of the population's views on what is to be considered normal in which case anyone with an exceptionally gifted mind, or who merely remains steadfast with an unpopular belief could be considered mad. Would this make me insane then? If I refuse to play this game that the world has worshipped and idolized, of structure and becoming one with the crowd by making myself not in the status quo, would this make me insane? Where does the white meet the black, and what is the gray?
