I have this burning desire to have hallucinations. I've had them before as a child though they weren't fun or drug induced. I don't know why, I'd just like to experience the sensation again.

I've not done anything else apart from weed semi-regularly, and I'd like to move forward before I start medical school (If they catch you with anything illegal you'll be expelled from the Uni and the course, far stricter than non medical courses). I guess I don't want to miss my chance before I become too old to do it, or risk my professional career. It probably wouldn't be that hard to get, but I'd like to do it with a friend (I never do it alone) and it's just the case of persuading one.

Have you ever had hallucinations (whether or not they were drug induced) and how did you feel?

NB: Please don't suggest drugs that I could try, etc, as this is against the guidelines, hence this is posted in THHF and not TASA.

I've had drug-induced hallucinations only, on several different drugs, including salvia and DXM. I'm not suggesting them, just telling you that's what they were.
My salvia hallucinations were extremely vivid. They usually are for many people. I remember technicolour animals, such as cats and dogs, and moving walls, and for some reason, one of those mining carts they use to move the ore underground was one of the things I saw.

Usually hallucinating bothers my anxiety though, so I don't do too well with it. But there is the rare time that I will have a really good hallucination that is very easy, and I am calmed though the whole thing.

Kind of from sleep deprivation but they weren't anything major like seeing things that weren't there, it was just stuff like the curtains were moving and bugs on the wall out the corner of your eye

Ive had PTSD educed hallucinations (those arent fun), hallucinations from sleep deprivation (nor are those), and hallucinations from salvia (those are fun).

Im not sure if salvia is legal in the the UK, but if it is, you might want to give that a go. The tea is actually pretty tasty to!

Anyways, it all depends on what it is. The ones that were salvia induced were amazing. I saw all sorts of crazy things, and it was very trippy.

Now, PTSD hallucinations are NOT fun in the least. Flashing back, and re-living your worse memories is one of the most horrible things that can ever happen IMO.

Sleep deprivation...Not necessarily hallucinations, but similar experiences. I guess its not as severe or great of hallucinations.
