Well he must have worked something out with them, then.

I don't think you understand what I am saying. It is one of the UNFORGIVABLE sins. There's no "working it out" or striking a deal. The mistake that's the easiest to make will get you sent to Hell. Full stop.

You don't understand what the unforgiveable sin is, and if you're so certain that saying "God doesn't exist" is unforgiveable, give me a chapter and verse, please.

Why do things, like the concept of unforgivable sin, have to be "worked out", can never mean what they really say? Why does one have to go deeper? Why does englightnement surge only after long periods of thought, where you play around with semantics, meanings, history, unfounded thought experiments and conclusions based only on the unexamined confidence you have of yourself and others?

What do any of those questions have to do with the topic at hand?

Answer: nothing. Stay on topic, titty.

You are either part of the solution in this world, or you are not. It is not enough to merely not commit evil.

"All are called, few are chosen."

Few people are "good people." Most are bad. They think that merely because you do not commit evil, you must be good. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It is not enough to simply not commit evil. You must also be active and do good, for if you do neither good or evil, you are allowing evil to escape without a fight when it exists.

The bad guy sucks. The guy who does nothing to stop him sucks more.

You obviously cannot stop thinking of the coincidence of my abreviated nickname becoming tit when you think of replying me. How childish of your sadly immature (and yet unsurprising) mentality.

Also, if you have an idealisticly based problem with filling this precious thread with out of topic replies (something you have just done to reply to me), reply to my questions in a private message... if you can bother with ignorant titty here, that is.

And I think you can answer better than "Nothing". That type of answer is quite insulting to the time I spend trying to understand your point of view and openly expressing my ignorance, for you, or anyone, to enlighten. Ttthat's why I post my questions publicly.

If you want answers to questions that have nothing to do with the topic of the thread, post a new thread. It's not difficult.

That's what Prince-O-Palities posted. I personally saw this on "The God Who Wasn't There". I'm not gonna watch the entire movie again for one verse.

I'd recommend at least looking up the verse on your own if you're going to make claims like that, since the Bible says nothing of the sort, and, frankly, Prince-O-Palities is not the be-all and end-all of theological study (as much as he sometimes likes to pretend he is). I've never read a single scholarly work that suggests that unbelief is the unforgiveable sin, and it makes no logical sense in the context of the one verse that speaks of the unforgiveable sin, at least in the way you're describing it.

Unbelief itself is not the sin. Actually saying that the Holy Ghost is not real is the Unforgiveable sin.

And you're basing this on...?

Again, this isn't something that makes logical sense, as if that were the case, most of the people who are Christians today couldn't be as such. It sounds to me like someone was purposely misunderstanding the unforgiveable sin (also note: one unforgiveable sin, not "many unforgiveable sins") to try and poke holes in Christianity.

okay so do me a favor and forget everything your friends say.

If you believe in god, and try to have a growing relationship with him,
and you apply what you learn in the bible,
then you will go to heaven.
the biggest thing is applying what the bible can teach us, also confesing our sins.
It's really not just not killing people lol

good luck (:
