Luckily, they are okay. But they could have been seriously hurt. These were huge pieces, and they are still hot.

One of the dogs has a bad food allergy that we are trying to work out, but right now, she is missing most of the hair on her body. If a hot enough piece fell on her, there would be no fur to protect her skin. She'd be immediately burned. In which case, I'd seriously be making the bitchiest phone call to someone I've ever made in my life, and my boyfriend would probably show a side of himself I'd rather not see.
