I left my boyfriend last night. He keeps telling me he loves me and wants to be with me again and marry me one day.  And I love him too. But he causes so much pain. He still loves another girl. And it hurts. He's all, I won't talk about her anymore. But just not talking about her doesn't stop the pain. He has to get over her, and he's told me he doesn't know if he ever will. I love him and I want to be with him again, but this whole day I've been just fine. I'm almost numb. Should I take him back? If so, should I give it some time or do it now?

That's what I've tried to do. I know it takes time to get over someone, but he still masturbates thinking about her. He cried for her last night while we were talking. I tell him he isn't even trying but he claims he is.
