I believe in emotional problems but I don't believe they are medical disorders, from a perspective of both personal and secondhand experience.

Well, I basically just live with it.
I'm not medicated, however.

i dont have any emotional 'problems' aside from isolation but thats completely natural given the circumstances

im sure they would diagnose me with all kinds of stupid junk but that is because most people, particularly psychiatrists are uncomfortable with my unconventional views on most subjects and are stuck in the realm of pathologizing emotions

I work at a state psychiatric hospital in my shitty ass state, I understand psych very well and to the people who have issues with mental health as... in you think its a load of shit, go fuck yourself! They are just as human as you and I but have issues. Im sorry to bitch but I am tired of dealing with ignorant oblivious people who think that Mental health is a crock of shit when its not!

its a crock of shit to say these are medical disorders

to say theyre just character flaws and that these people dont deserve help is also a crock of shit

but the typical help given today is, also, a crock of shit

I'm getting better at dealing with it, i've finally found some meds that help somewhat.

It makes my social life a bit harder to deal with.
Some people just can't deal with me being so moody.
and I have to be careful who i hang around with, depressed people seriously rub off on me and i hate that because i love to try and make people feel better. Normally I'll make them feel better but in return I'll get their depression, and when i get depressed i just can't function at all so =/
Other than that, my life is pretty normal.
I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder since i was 11.

i understand people getting tired of constantly dealing with someone who explodes nonstop, but a lot of 'mentally ill' people arent like that

the reason for this isnt because theres anything wrong with the person suffering, its because most people are vacuous, callous idiots
