okay, i'm on birth control, however earlier this week, i missed a pill (well kinda took it late). i ussually take them at about supper time, but tuesday i forgot, so i took it as soon as i got up.
i know that this can mean the pill is less effective for the next week or something but, yesterday (sunday) i had sex without a condom or anything.
i read that you can use high doses or bc pills as the morning after pill. i have a pack of alesse, and it says to take 5, then another 5, 12 hours later.
should i do this just to lower my chances?
if i do, what do you think my chances are (i'll take the first dose about 16 hours since having sex)

ohh and also, i am expecting to get my period in a few days.
on the website that said to use alesse as plan b, it said that i should expect my period within the next month.
does that mean i will just get it when i'm supposed to, or will i just maybe not get it??
i'm wondering cause i dont want to not get it then be freaking out cause i'm late, when really its just because i took the high dose thing.

I don't think the chances are that high but i did get pregnant on the pill (i'm not trying to scare you) but i was really careless i forgot to take it one day and didn't take it as soon as i noticed to it's my fault. If your period is late then get a test and put your mind at ease. Just remember though if you worry about it your period might come late anyway so just don't worry yourself. Have you thought about emergency contraception? You can still take that, but whatever happens don't worry theres a lot of support out there.

i feel horrible saying this cause its such a bad situation, but i'm glad for the timing, cause my family is spending the week at a water park starting today, so its kinda good timing if my period is late..
wow. i cant believe i'm thinking this.
