I'm practically telling you to be OPEN-MINDED. You shouldn't feel insecure about your race, AT ALL. If it's your appearance, let's say hair, body, etc., that's a totally different story. As for your race, you should cherish it. See the cool things you have others don't. Basically, you're putting yourself out there, making yourself seem like this small little snail and for people like me to step on. Don't make yourself vulnerable, because it sounds exactly like it.

I'm not trying to make myself vulnerable ok? I know I should be more open-minded. But, its hard. I'm trying. I know you think that this idea of me posting a thread about white peopls' opinion is bad, but this really helps/helped me. I just want you to know that :) I'll be more open minded, and I am sort of now, after reading these replies.

I think stereotypes against asians really stink because asians are really different from each other in many ways. Chinese dont always have the same ideas and feelings as filipinos who dont always feel the same as indians. Just because we all asians dont mean we see the world the same. We really dont. Filipinos are more like pac islanders and hawaiians. Chinese ppl are their own trip altogther, japanese like to think themselves sometimes as alsmot white. Vietnamese are a mix of different ideas. Indians are even different from each other because theres north, south west indian and their attitude is different from each other.

About nerdiness Filipinos are really NOT nerdy at all. Chinese are pretty nerdy yeah. Japanese are nerdy but much more serious and polite than chinese. Vietnamese are sometimese nerdy and sometimes not. Some Indians are nerdy but most are really good in business. They are more outgoing too I think.

And within all of them theres ton of exception anyway.

so all I can say is just be YOURSELF and dont worry what other ppl think or say.
