I want to convert AVI files to Flash. I want to upload a video which is about 30 minutes long. It's a recording of an online gaming tournament as the other team isn't being honest about the scores.
luckily i'm able to record my ps3 footage!
I really don't want to upload to youtube. It screws up the quality too much. I want to upload it to my own web space. I've found some software to convert it to flv. although it added huge watermarks infront of my video. -_-
Is there another way? any other software which is free. or i could get for free?
the software before wanted me to give them almost $300 to remove the watermarks. Its a good peice of software and can convert to hundreds of different formats. but i only want avi > flv.

Freeware almost always sucks. Just search for the software you want on mininova.org -- but don't download it, that would be wrong.
Freeware for small jobs. -_-

honestly, i found a huge problem bcs i wanted to convert flv video to avi (the reverse of ur problem) & i downloaded TOTAL VIDEO CONVERTER..it sould work for different type of vids
