People post in the Eating Disorder section...
telling people what they do (starve, over exersize, purge ect.)
and then ask if they have an Eating disorder...

Clearly they already know that they have an ED if they are posting it in the Eating disorder forum.
and if they DIDNT know they have an ED, then google anorexia or bulimia or what ever Eating disorder they suspect they may have and find the symptoms from there...

False. Most ED's have nothing to do with food. It's only the manifestation that we see.

exactly.
and it's actually a lot harder to deal with an eating disorder than most people think. telling someone to go eat does not help in any way or form.
