I have a similar problem but I pick at my cuticles pretty bad. I almost don't have cuticles.

I dont know how people bite their nails! I sound insane but I dont understand it anyway I think they make some stuff that taste like crap that you can put on them to train kids or just people to stop, you might want to look more into that, but if the nail polish didnt work then I'm not sure lol.

i pick my nails. for me it was a willpower issue. i would try over and over again - just told myself to stop. but eventually i would break down and pick them all down to the nubs. it took about 7 attempts and failures before i stopped. just stick with it - mind over matter.

hmm well i used to get my nails done so i wouldnt bite them and it worked for like a year, but then when i got them off i bit all my nails again.
