I've been thinking about studying abroad.

Is it worth the cost?

it would be about 16000 for a semester that includes tuition, flight, housing, and i think food and other little things liek that.

are brave knowing we could easily be defeated but still continue forward.

It really depends.  I know a lot of people who have participated in programs such as there.  Some of them really enjoyed themselves and some of them did not.  It's really personal preference.  It depends on the subject you're studying, where you're going, what your schedule looks like, etc.  Many people were complaining that they hardly had any free time.  Personally, I think it's a great experience and encourage all those who could afford it to give it a try.  Good luck.

personally i'd love to "study" a broad.

concerning the actual subject: it seems to be pretty popular. i wouldn't go if i had to pay that on top of my regular tuition and room and board and whatever else, though.

That's A LOT of money...I don't think my friend paid that much. He is studying abroad in Germany right now, and is LOVING it. I truly believe he loves every minute of it and would think it worth every penny. He would move there if he could. lol

So if you can afford it, I say go for it.
