right so i was talking about it at college with some mates and we were trying to figure out the big deal.
yeah so people died i get that but why the hell is everyone so uptight about it?, everyone dies eventually so why are people so offended about this and not death, it makes no sense.

well besides 3,000 people dying in a fairly short time frame some planes were hijacked and basically the entire chain of command that was supposed to prevent this failed utterly

It was a terrorist attack.  Many innocent people lost their lives.  I know that these things happen all the time in other parts of the Middle Eastern world but this was a traumatic experience for the Americans.
