see my post for why we havent had an attack of that magnitude

  we caught them

Yes, and one day, some might slip through. One day, something might happen over there like it did here.

And what will your people do?

Laugh and rejoyce? I think not.

They will mourn, and weep over lost ones. And the attack. And will turn to other countries for sympathy as well.

  And what will you do?
Will you be happy that it happend? Will you just 'over look' the sitution? I think not.
Think before you speak, accidents happen, things slip through the cracks.

It may not be terriosts, hell it might be a sucide bomber walking into a building and blowing it up along with the people inside.

  Who knows.

But let one thing be known, I wish not, anything upon another country, for I know how it feels to sit there, looking and waiting for news.

i doubt we'll do the american thing
" we've been attacked boohoohoo help us " uh no we'd sort it out yeah people died its sooooo traumatic (sarcasm) so have my grandparents...... exactly i got over it

 You say that now.

And if you don't like a big deal being made out of it. WHY POST A TOPIC ABOUT IT?

i dont know what well do but i know were not gonna expect the whole world to give us sympathy for 7 years and start a war against their country while were at it
jackass

I'm a jackass?

Who said America as a whole wants sympathy? I don't...I hate people who pity me.

And the war wasn't even a part of this damn topic. But just like us, if someone were to attack you, youd attack them back wouldn't you?

If you were mugged youd fight back, if you were shot at and lived, and knew who did it, would you or would you not want to get even?

 My point is,

9/11 was and still is in the hearts of many Americans, a tragedy.
And we mourn the loss of many families, the loss of a country.

Its not so much as we were attacked by terrorists. Its the magnitude of the attack.

I get that other places have be victims of terrorists.
And I don't think it any less then what happened here.

But can you honestly say, that loosing your one uncle to a stabbing was any more important then people loosing entire families for something they didn't do?

wait wait wait
so youre saying that his uncle got stabbed through his own fault

you are the perfect example with only 5 words "the loss of a country"
bollocks
it was 2 buildings

the phenomenally vast majority of "your" country is still intact unfortunately
what your countries army is doing is ripping apart a country and how dare you even think that 1 attack gives you the right to say your whole country was lost

Its been the only attack on our soil since Pearl Harbor. Its a big thing to us
And it was an act that used means of travel as flying bombs ready and willing to destroy every target they aimed for.  It is considered a very, very big deal.

the ultimate goal of terrorism is to disrupt and destroy our society
we brushed it off and got on with it
by doing what you did YOU let them win
they did what they meant to do

This kind of stuff rarely happens in America. Of course in the middle east they're used to it..

How are we self centered? We're self centered because many innocent people lost there lives? I'm sorry but if people lost there lives in a tragic event in your country you would be mourning to..

I did not mean it like that, I meant it as the ENITRE COUNTRY FELT as if they had lost someone.
I don't expect you to understand, and I don't want your damn sympathy. Its the way we as AMERICANS fuckin' feel. ALRIGHT?

Its settled, we feel one way you the other damn way. It doesn't matter.

Why bicker and argue when together we can all stand stronger then any enemy huh?
